Experience in helping people relate their faith to their daily lives and develop their gifts for service and leadership will be a benefit. Blue Rock United Brethren Church (Waynesboro, Pa.) is looking for a person that God is calling to fill an extremely important role with the children/youth of our community. We are a rural church located 2 miles outside of the town of Waynesboro, and we have a very good relationship with Mowery Elementary School and our Waynesboro Area School district.

This person will be expected to oversee the children’s ministry and direct the youth group. Our director will work in close partnership with a variety of children’s ministry volunteers and a youth Sunday school teacher. This position includes a part-time salary. Job Responsibilities

  • Plans weekly services, both traditional and contemporary, that engage the congregation and support the reading and preaching of God’s Word.
  • Modeling and leading worship that encourages active participation in worship.
  • Recruiting, auditioning, teaching, and training musicians in the church to serve the congregation as a team.
  • Leading weekly rehearsals that serve a dual purpose: preparation for Sunday services, and cultivation of a Christ-centered community.

Once known as the ‘Pottery Capital of the World,’ East Liverpool is in the beginning stages of a revitalization which causes us to anticipate a new season of ministry in which The Heights is a center for people to find Christ, develop their Christian life, and experience Him in everyday living.

Salem United Brethren in Christ Church in Chambersburg, Pa., is a congregation with a suburban feel within close proximity to the I-81 corridor in south-central Pennsylvania. We are looking for a senior pastor who will encourage and enhance the giftedness of our staff and God’s people in collaborative ministry to serve families and prepare them to live Christian lives for future decades. It is our desire to grow spiritually and stay spiritually alive in Christ.

Sunfield United Brethren in Christ Church in Sunfield, Mich. (25 miles west of Lansing), a congregation with a rich heritage, is looking forward to writing our next chapter of ministry. Over the past two years of working through a revitalization process, we have gained a new sense of unity of purpose in the church. Spiritual foundations and maturity are being deepened in our people. Outreach is becoming part of our DNA, resulting in new people and families becoming part of the congregation.
