How blessed we were to sit under Emmett’s ministry. He was the best Pastor we ever served under (also Pastor Hill). Larry and I are sitting here talking about all the fun times we had with both Shirley and Emmett One night he asked if I could go down to the Rescue Mission in LA to sing, and he was preaching. He asked me if I could drive because Shirley had their car. Okay, he was giving me directions where to turn, etc. All of a sudden, he say’s, turn left. So I do, only to see it was a one way street, and we were going the wrong way. I wanted to make a U-turn so at least we would be going the right way. Oh no, Emmett said, just keep driving. WHAT! Praise the Lord there were no Police around. I have lots more funny stories, but I will keep them to myself.
