My boyfriend was diagnosed with esophageal cancer in July of 2013, went through 5 weeks of chemo and radiation, and hit some bumps along the way, one requiring a colon resection surgery. He’s now 5 weeks post op from that surgery, and we’re awaiting the surgery date for the cancer. It’s a bumpy road, filled with so many doctor visits I can’t even count. But we’ve been blessed with an incredible support team of friends and family that are always checking up on him, and encouraging us along the way. If ever I can answer any questions or be a listening ear, let me know. I know what it’s like, still going through it.
