Gertha was a very dear friend. I loved her heart. She believed so strongly in prayer and was always a big supporter on our church's prayer chain for years and years. She and I spent much time working side by side many years ago, preparing and serving delicious food to the attendees of a local ministry, Sheep's Gate. She had a great, giving spirit. She loved people. And people loved eating her food. There are many fond memories of Gertha, but my favorites are just sitting with her, sharing our love for the Lord. I'm grateful to know that she is no longer suffering and spending her eternity with the Lord she loved and served for so many years. Sending loving thoughts and prayers to her family. You are blessed people.
