I just came across a news story about your new assignment. What do you know about your family? My father was Rev. Warren Jacob Sherman. He pastored in both the Brethern in Christ and Free Methodist churches. He attended Messiah College and Asbury Seminary. Both my parents were from PA.
I also have a Rev. William Sherman in my family tree, also from PA. Currently I live just west of Indy.
From what I can figure out I trace my family to Thomas Sherman b 1731 in north east PA. I am beginning to believe we are palatine German.
