Professional movie reviewers all thought the movie terrible, but private viewers all seemed to think it was good.
My wife and I attended at a local theater. They screened the movie in a tiny room I didn’t know they had. About 15 or 20 people attended that showing.
It was one of the best movies we have ever seen. The acting used native speakers of the tribal language, and they did an incredibly good job. One of the Americans was accused of wooden acting, but his acting was so realistic that I thought he might be a close relative of a friend of mine.
If you haven’t seen this movie, I sincerely recommend it to you. It is also historically correct, and you need not be embarrassed to take a nonbelieving friend.
